The goal was very clear from the beginning. With the Magica series,we wanted to change how much people can expect to get for their money at the lowest possible price. With Magica, we wanted to take it a step further regarding the quality.
We wanted to have a cable series that was going to be focused directly to the High-End audio enthusiasts, and still have a price-point that is far more realistic.
So we took it a bit further regarding materials used in the Hera series and are featuring among others, the purest copper conductors and our low capacity High-Density Triple-Layer Shielding isolation technology.
There has been spent nearly two years of searching for the right cable manufactor and we have ask to designed cables that are truly inspiring regarding finish and sound quality.
If you always dreamt of High End cables between your components, but never wanted to pay the premium price, this is your chance.
Overall we believe we have a better product, but as always with Ludic Audio, don’t take our word for it, ultimately we invite you to judge yourself.

OCC (Ohno Continuous Cast) is the name given to the casting process developed to help defeat annealing issues and virtually eliminate all grain boundaries in copper with a unique patented process. The OCC casting method uses specialized heated moulds in order to draw a single crystal up to 125 meters in length. With only a single crystal in very long lengths, there is an unimpeded free path for the best possible signal transfer. Along with this superior single long crystal structure, OCC provides copper with the least possible oxides and other impurities. In high contrast to OCC, there are other lower grade copper such as OFC with a multitude of grain boundaries and other impurities. OFC (Oxygen Free Copper) has around 400 crystals per foot and despite its name has an oxygen content of about 10 ppm. Having less oxygen content and less overall impurities compared OFC. OFC has a plethora of grain boundaries per foot that the signal must route around and pass. The question ultimately comes down to the following: Would you rather have your signal flow in a path with many cracks, bumps and obstacles in the way (OFC) or flow along a completely unimpeded free path with the lowest possible impurities (OCC). From our view the choice is simple, and the bottom line is most top cable designs utilize OCC as it gives the absolute purest base platform to get that much closer to true absolute transparency. |

Ik heb 3 weken geleden deze kabel aangeschaft op basis van eigenlijk de looks en de prijs. Na aankomst van het pakketje (netjes verpakt overigens) zit de kabel in een mooie Ludic Bag en om de connectoren ook netjes beschermd. Ik had niet verwacht dat de kabel zo strak afgewerkt zou zijn voor deze prijs. De connectoren grijpen ook echt mooi aan waardoor alles goed vastzit.
Ik had een setje Supra kabels en Audioquest liggen, maar de reden dat ik nieuwe wilde is omdat ik deze Ludic kabels er gewoon mooier uitzien, nu maar hopen dat het geluid ook op niveau is. Het geluid is warempel een verbetering en dat voor deze prijs. Ik had gehoopt op minimaal hetzelfde, maar het gehele beeld is meer open dan voorheen, het lijkt wel helderder…moeilijk uit te leggen, maar de opname klinkt veel meer zoals deze behoort te zijn.
Nu ik veel thuis zit met Corona merk ik dat ik meer ga zitten luisteren, maar door deze set kabels, klinkt gek misschien maar zit ik soms echt een stuk langer te luisteren dan voorheen.
Ieder geval, ik kan deze set Magica luidsprekerkabels enkel aanraden, ik ga nu sparen voor de Polaris of Aesir powercords
